Just finished reading this book & it's quite a journey & adventure. I enjoyed exploring with Max all the different states & cities his explorations took him. I learned more about the hippy (free love) drug culture that I'd only heard about before. This is a good read, and moves along quickly. It's got a little bit of everything, some tense drama, a little walk on the dark side & steps to redemption. Definitely worth your time & great nostalgia for those who lived those days & for those who didn't you'll be educated on what it was really like.
